As a practitioner with years of experience in the field, I have come to learn over the years, that there is no amount of theoretical ‘book’ knowledge that can beat or outdo that that of experience. Because in this field it is through practice experience, networking and endeavoring on meaningful relations that one is able to continuously build on knowledge,

what you do and how you impart that knowledge is up to you. In this case, this is one of the reasons, of building or starting such an establishment – to share not only a ‘new experience’ but to also be an ambassador or champion in my own capacity to help improve on our local healthcare system.

There is already a small database of qualified people that have industry experience, that will be interviewed and be part of the diverse team. A strong work ethic and a desire to provide a high level of customer service is of importance, the identified people are retired staff nurses with years of experience, contractors and we will also employ young people who seek on the job training and exposure in the industry whether it is through primary health, occupational health.
